A few nights ago, I had a short, yet very powerful dream. I found myself standing in the entryway of my old childhood church. There alongside me was my son and a friend of his from school. I don’t remember much of his name, or what he looked like, however, he had a Red t-shirt that said “Revelations” on it, with a picture of a band.
My son proceeded to introduce him to me. His friend kindly approached me with a hug. A tight, long hug! He suddenly stopped while still holding on to me, and began starring into my eyes. I said, “What in the world are you doing?” He responded, “We should go out sometime!” I then replied, “Excuse me? I can be your mother!” He began to get upset and responded with, “But. I’m 17! I’m already 17. Already 17!”. Immediately after my dream ended and I woke up.
As I’ve said in the past, not every dream needs to be long and full of details. Even the shortest ones are packed with information. So what stood out to me here? The fact that I only remembered what his shirt said, “Revelations”; that we were in Church (the bible, God), and that he stated he was 17 three times (3 is the number of the Holy Trinity/God).
I’m taking this as another possible foreshadowing into what’s to come. I quickly linked Revelations 17 verse 3 to this dream. In this verse it states, “Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.” https://www.bibleref.com/Revelation/17/Revelation-17-3.html
This verse in the bible talks about false religions, perversions, and utter corruption. It talks about a “one world religion” and “the coming of the antichrist“. Could this be what’s to come? I’m not sure. But, God and the Angels did speak to his disciples in dreams and apparitions in order to make them aware of what was next and what to expect. He did say that his children will have an inner knowing.
If anything, one things for sure; we need to remain in prayer. We can all agree on the sadness that is plaguing the world at the moment. God said, “Focus on me, not the storm”. It is imperative that we stay focused on what matters most and not live in the deceit, or debauchery around us. Love with all your heart and soul, give to those who need you, encourage the defeated, guide your children, seek the Truth and don’t settle for less, and above all, Trust in God’s promise that he will be back soon!
