The man at the window

I’d like to share a vision I had yesterday, while I was waiting at the doctor’s office. These past few weeks have been a bit hectic, and well, weeks like this can sometimes leave you feeling a little under the weather. As I was sitting in one of the rooms, waiting to be seen, I decided to just close my eyes and do a short meditation in order to make the time go by a little quicker. By the way, I strongly suggest this to everyone! Meditation can be done whenever and wherever. You don’t have to be in a specific place. This will help your concentration, help you relax, and re-focus your mind.

As I closed my eyes, I immediately see this man point and direct my attention to a window. I was in a dark room, but I can see through the window that it was day time. He seemed to be playing with the window curtain and blinds. He would raise it and then pull it down again. He repeated this several times. As he was doing this, he stared at me, as if he was making sure that I was paying attention, or “catching his drift”.

Window: Windows represent ones hopes and dreams.

Looking out the window: This symbolizes your outlook on life, or point of view. Think about how it looked outside. Was it dark, sunny, rainy, cloudy, etc.

Window blinds/curtains: Curtains and blinds block the views between the inside of the window and the outside world. It represents a barrier that one has placed between yourself and certain others. Curtains may sometimes link a persons feelings with the “end” of something, or a death. It is considered to be the “Veil between Life and Death”.

Lifting the curtain/blinds: This represents revealing things that have been hidden for a while. The beginning of a fresh, new start.

Man at the window: This may be a persons spirit guide coming to help.

Playing with curtains, or blinds: This represents a situation that you’ve been trying to change, or the behavior of someone in particular.

So you see, meditation may be done anywhere, and messages may also come at any given moment. Our guides come to us at any time, to give us advice, comfort, hope, and love. Sometimes there is no message and they simply want for us to know that they are there and we are never alone. So next time you find yourself waiting at the doctor’s office, the hair salon, at a car dealer, at a hospital, etc., close your eyes for a few minutes and let yourself go. Your body will thank you and you will give spirit an opportunity to communicate with you.

*If you’d like to have your dreams interpreted by me, please leave me a message in the comment box below and I will be most obliged. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for a response. Thank you!

Between the lines

"As writers and dreamers, we may never fit in (what they call) normality. Who cares? You and me, fulfilling old legends, we stay awake in each other’s dreams. We live for ever and a day in each other’s stories. We share memories of things that never happened. You and me. That’s the level of faith given upon our entwined souls!"
