So, I would love to get some of you to chime in and let me know what your take on this particular dream is. Now, I normally like to upload my dreams immediately the following day, but I’ve been lead to a few new projects that necessitated my undivided attention. However, this particular dream continues to knock on my subconscious door. Now, if you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’ve had all kinds of dreams; happy dreams, scary dreams, dreams where I’m in space, being chased, flying, floating, etc., etc. But this one is new, even for me. A dream about a possible Locust PLAGUE?!!!
Standing still in the middle of what looked like a foreign country to me, almost desert-like, were hundreds of thousands of Locusts. At first, they were all congregated in a group on the ground, every so often jumping out of their place. Suddenly, they began to ascend in the air simultaneously and take off. As I was observing them on the ground, it almost seemed like they were preparing some kind of flight pattern, or perhaps discussing where their destination will be. This is what I felt in my dream anyways! Along with this feeling was worry, a slight sense of fear and urgency.
What do Locusts mean?
Locusts in dreams usually indicate a place that has done wrong and will be punished for their wrongdoings. When I woke up, I thought, ” There are so many places in this world, at the moment, that deserve such a plague. Where and whom is this directed to? ” In the bible (Revelation 19) it states, “Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.” And so, here I am.
I’m usually skeptical about writing on subjects such as these, however, I feel like we are being given small insights into necessary events being played out right before our very eyes. Events that, although we can do absolutely nothing about, help us to understand the beyond. The simple fact that there are questionless acts that must occur by order of the Divine. That these are messages given to us to be vigilant of things to come. We are very much so living in interesting times. A time where it is difficult to decipher if I should be thinking of, “Where I should be in my career?”, or simply, “Where should I be in life?” At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is what you’ve done and whom you have been. Such simple dreams that create a whirlwind of questions to arise from within us. Leaving us with more questions and perhaps, even greater answers.
