As the holidays draw near, comes the closing of another year.
A time of reflection, of family and cheer.
The struggles you’ve gone through and memories made,
The close calls and quarrels you were able to evade.
For many it’s cheerful, for some not at all.
They’ll find themselves lonely as the night begins to fall.
Unhappy feelings begin to transpire,
As they ponder over their hopes and dreams prior.
But we serve a God that is mighty and true,
He will keep His promise and deliver it to you.
A blank sheet of paper we are given to write,
A new story and moments filled with power and might.
So as this year closes, my dearest wishes for you,
A year filled with Hope, Love, and Wishes come true.
May God fill your hearts with the courage you need,
To push through hardships placed in front of thee.
May you cherish each moment and hold them dear to your hearts,
May you learn to appreciate opportunities, fresh starts.
This “season” we call it has nothing to do,
with parties and presents, a mistletoe or two.
But as we find ourselves through our journey in life,
May we find that the Pureness and Wholeness is CHRIST.
